COVID update: Bureau County moves out of warning level, Putnam County moves on

On Friday, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Departments reported 17 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. Bureau County has moved out of the warning level after being listed for six weeks. Putnam County has moved to the warning level as of Friday, Sept. 25.

In Bureau County, 15 new cases are recovering at home:

• Two female infants.

• Two male toddlers.

• Two male children.

• Three females in their 30’s.

• Two males in their 30’s.

• Two females in their 40’s.

• One male in his 50’s.

• One male in his 70’s.

In Marshall County, one new case is recovering at home:

• One female in her 80’s.

In Putnam County, one new case is recovering at home:

• One make in his 30’s.

There have now been 815 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the counties served by the Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Departments. Bureau County has had 654 confirmed cases. Marshall County has had 102 confirmed cases. Putnam County has had 59 confirmed cases. The first case was reported in Marshall County on March 23rd.

In total, 8,891 Bureau County residents, 1,157 Putnam County residents and 3,667 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
