In the last 24 hours, Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health has reported 10 new positive cases of COVID.
Nine cases are in Bureau County. Of these cases, six people are recovering at home including a female in her 30s, a male in his 30s, two males in their 70s, a female in her 60s and a male in his 30s.
Three people from Bureau County who have tested positive for COVID are recovering in the hospital. The patients are a female in her 90s, a male in his 50s and a male in his 40s.
There has also been one new case from Putnam County, a female in her 20s, who is recovering at home.
According to the health department, there have now been 112 confirmed cases in the three-county region. Bureau County has had 87 confirmed cases. Putnam County has had eight confirmed cases. Marshall County has had 17 confirmed cases.
There have been two COVID-related deaths reported in Bureau County since the outbreak.
ZIP code areas with six or more cases in Bureau County are: Princeton, 25 confirmed cases out of 1,354 tests; Spring Valley, 22 cases out of 892 tests; Buda, six cases out of 71 tests and DePue, 12 cases out of 107 tests.
In Putnam County: Granville, six cases out of 130 tests.
In Marshall County: Henry, six cases out of 315 tests.
In total, 3,646 Bureau County residents; 406 Putnam County residents; and 1,413 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic.
