The Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Department reported three new COVID cases on Friday morning, one in each county.
The individual in Bureau County is a female in her 20s.
The individual in Marshall County is a female in her teens.
The individual in Putnam County is a female in her 50s.
All are recovering in their homes.
Public health officials are in the beginning stages of the investigation and are working to identify individuals who were in contact with the cases. Federal privacy restrictions prohibit the release of any additional information regarding these cases. No further information regarding the investigations is available at this time.
There have now been a total of 91 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the three-county region. Bureau County has had 69 cases. Marshall County has had 16 cases and Putnam County has had six cases.
There have been two deaths in Bureau County related to COVID-19.
The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Friday listed LaSalle as one of four counties to be at a warning level for COVID-19. A county enters a warning level when two or more COVID-19 risk indicators that measure the amount of COVID-19 increase.
Other counties listed in the warning level were Adams, Peoria and Randolph.
The IDPH announced 1,532 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 19 additional confirmed deaths.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 168,457 cases, including 7,385 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than 1 to older than 100 years.
As of Thursday night, 1,471 people in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 325 patients were in the ICU and 115 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.
