Three new Bureau County COVID case were reported by the Bureau, Putnam, Marshall County Health Department on Thursday.
The individuals are a female in her 20s, a female in her 30s and a female in her 80s. All are recovering in their homes.
Public health officials are in the beginning stages of the investigation and are working to identify individuals who were in contact with the cases. Federal privacy restrictions prohibit the release of any additional information regarding these cases. No further information regarding the investigations is available at this time.
There have now been a total of 87 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the three-county region, seven in the past 24 hours. Bureau County has had 67 cases. Marshall County has had 15 cases and Putnam County has had five cases. There have been two deaths in Bureau County related to COVID-19.
