HENRY — Thirteen young girls, age 5 to 8 years old, will participate in the 2015 Marshall-Putnam County Fair Pageant. The pageant will be at 5 p.m. Sunday, July 5, in the Hunt Building at the fairgrounds in Henry.
The 13 contestants will be judged based on individual interviews held earlier in the day, along with their stage presence. The judges will be looking for an outgoing and confident young lady.
A new addition to the Little Miss Pageant this year will be the “People’s Choice Award.”
The audience can vote for their favorite little girl by putting their loose change in their favorite contestant’s jar. The contestant with the most money will be the Little Miss 2015 “People’s Choice Winner.”
Family Farms Together of Magnolia is sponsoring the 2015 Little Miss Pageant. The reigning 2014 Marshall-Putnam County Little Miss, Hannah Gorisek of Mark, is the daughter of Shannon and Dave Gorisek.
The Junior Miss and Queen Pageant will start at 6 p.m., right after the crowning of the 2015 Little Miss.
