A hardy group of members from the Chief Senachwine Chapter NSDAR commemorated Veterans Day on Nov. 11 at the Henry Park, recognizing the World War II sacrifice of Medal of Honor winner John P. Cromwell, Henry native, and honoring all veterans for their service. Attendees were Adelaide Flanigan (from left), Pat Henkins, Diane Zimmerman, regent Dolores Dace, Carol Byrd, Diana Williamson, Nancy Gillfillan and Sharon Bittner. In the background is the memorial dedicated to Navy Capt. Cromwell.
