HENNEPIN — The Putnam County Clerk’s Office announced it is in the process of completing an update of the county’s list of registered voters, and new voter registration cards will be sent out to all of the county’s registered voters.
When cards are received, voters are asked to examine them and verify that the information is correct.
If any of the information is incorrect or if someone is a registered voter and did not receive a new card, contact the Putnam County Clerk’s Office, P.O. Box 236, Hennepin, IL 61327; phone 815-925-7129.
For those who are eligible to vote but have not yet registered, they must do so prior to Feb. 18, 2020, in order to be eligible to vote in the general primary election to be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
People may register at the Putnam County Clerk’s Office or with any of the county’s precinct committee persons or other county deputy registrars.
