HENRY — Gateway Services Inc. has announced Open Doors Community Counseling is now scheduling appointments in Henry at their offices located at 511 School St.
Open Doors Community Counseling is approved by the Illinois Department of Human Services to provide mental health assessment, treatment plan development, therapy/counseling, crisis intervention, consultation services, and transition linkage and aftercare services.
To be eligible for these services, individuals must be 5 years of age or older and a recipient of Illinois Medicaid.
“It has been our goal for the past year to expand these services to Marshall County, and we are now doing that. We have three full-time counselors and another part-time counselor so we are able to meet the increasing need for counseling in this area,” Tracy Wright, CEO of Gateway Services, said. “The demand for services has been such that we are recruiting for another counselor to join our team.”
At this time, the program is only able to offer services to those with Medicaid (insurance) coverage. It is a future goal of the program to be able to expand to serve anyone with a need. Anyone interested in these services is invited to contact Open Doors at 815-875-4548, ext. 273, for additional information.
