MAGNOLIA — The Magnolia Township Preservation Association will hold several events during Magnolia Days on Aug. 16-18.
On Friday, Aug. 16, a food stand will be on Main Street and will offer barbecue sandwiches, chips, beverages and sweet treats.
On Saturday, Aug. 17, a lunch and bake sale will be held in the MTPA’s community room at the museum at 110 N. Peoria St. The exhibit rooms on the upper level will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The MTPA quarterly program will begin at 2:30 p.m. and will be held in the community room on the lower level. The program “History of the Grange: National, State, & Local” will be presented by Reed Wilson and Terry Judd.
On Sunday, Aug. 18, a lunch and a bake sale will be offered to the public from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with lunch reserved for the Illinois River Valley Tractor Drive upon their estimated arrival at 12:30 p.m. The exhibit rooms will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The building is ADA accessible and parking is available at the northeast corner of the parking lot. The east entrance is ADA accessible for both levels of the building.
