Cruise Night celebration keeps growing
During this past Friday evening’s Granville Days Cruise Night, several village officials expected the event’s final numbers to prove what appeared to be the biggest cruise night yet. The crowd filling McCoy Street from one end to the other had an impressive amount of eye-catching vehicles to see, from classic Model A Fords and a Ferrari, to a cutting-edge pair of Teslas, and everything in between. In addition, members of the Putnam County High School Drama Club and Choir appeared as a variety of Disney characters; members of the Granville UCC sold many plates of raviolis and garlic bread; and the Putnam County Panteras (and Lil’ Panteras) performed dance routines. The fun continued on Saturday with a number of other events. Additional Granville Days photos will appear in next week’s Putnam County Record.
