HENRY — Residents of Henry will host their ninth annual Henry Summer Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Central Park. The day will include a number of family-friendly attractions and activities.
The morning’s entertainment will begin at 9 a.m. with folk music from Daniel Watkins, who will perform until 10:30 a.m.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the acoustic duo of Lizzi and Dave Neal will take the stage.
From 1 to 1:30 p.m., Becky Kosinski will perform. From 1:30 to 3 p.m., local musician Jim Selquist will be entertaining the crowd.
Creative balloon art from Unique Twist will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
There will be a number of vendors offering food and other goods during the celebrations. Cheese Nuts Brick Oven Pizzeria will be tempting festival goers with freshly baked pizza, and the Meeting Place will be serving ribeye sandwiches, pork chops, brats and hot dogs. The Webb food stand will offer corn dogs, funnel cakes and lemon shake-ups. Jen’s Sweet Treats will have cotton candy, snow cones and lemon shake-ups. Castaways will be serving items as well.
More than 100 vendors will be displaying different arts, crafts, antiques, handmade items and more.
The Big Idaho Potato Truck, with the world’s largest potato on wheels, will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
