OTTAWA — The LaSalle County Genealogy Guild will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at 115 W. Glover in Ottawa.
The speaker will be Janice Fritsch, and the subject of her presentation will be DNA.
Fritsch will go over the basis of what the most popular DNA tests can and cannot do for genealogy research.
Fritsch would also like to address specific questions LCGG members (and guests) have regarding their DNA testing. Send questions to email@example.com to have questions addressed during the presentation.
Fritsch has done family history research for 25 years, is a past president of the Illinois State Genealogical Society and past director of the Federation of Genealogical Societies.
