HENRY — To all people of legal voting age who own or reside on land located within the boundaries of the Marshall-Putnam Soil and Water Conservation District, nominations are still being accepted for the two-year term of the office of director of the Marshall-Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District at the District’s Office at USDA Service Center, 1511 University Court, Henry, during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
To be considered, potential nominees must provide proof of residency or ownership of land located within the boundaries of the district. Interested individuals must respond by 4:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.
The election of directors will be held from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14. They will elect two people to the position of director to serve the two-year term. For questions, call 309-364-3913, ext. 3.
