PRINCETON — Perry Memorial Hospital CEO and President Annette Schnabel has announced the addition of the Perry Podiatry Clinic with Dr. Gary Hoelle, D.P.M., joining the hospital's team Nov. 26.
“Perry Memorial Hospital continuously evaluates the availability of health care providers and services to meet our community’s needs," Schnabel said.
”I believe in working with current providers like Dr. Hoelle, we are able to assist in a succession and transitional plan as they retire from active practice," she said.
"Recently Perry had the opportunity to collaborate with Dr. Hoelle, who has provided services to the region for 30 years, in his future succession planning efforts.”
Dr. Hoelle and PMH worked together to recruit Dr. Amanda McGuire, D.P.M., to join the clinic in the summer of 2019 upon completion of her residency program at Katherine Shaw Bethea Podiatric Residence Program in Dixon.
Dr. Hoelle will continue to provide services to the community until the succession is complete. Perry Podiatry Clinic will provide services through Dr. Hoelle, Tuesday-Thursday in the same office as he is currently located through the end of summer 2019.
Dr. McGuire’s residency training prepares her to offer podiatric foot and ankle surgery. She will become the full-time provider as the transition ends and will offer both office procedures and surgical podiatry services. Specialty foot care will be offered for children, sports injuries, and elder and diabetic foot care.
Perry Podiatry Clinic will be located in the same office space that Dr. Hoelle currently occupies. It is in the Physicians Medical Building, 530 Park Ave. East in Suite 202.
