PETERSBURG, Fla. — Georgia Ann Stehl of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Granville, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
She was born in Granville on Jan. 2, 1936, to Wilmer and Elizabeth (Pletsch) Stehl.
She attended Hopkins High School and graduated from Illinois State University. She taught one year in Tonica and then become a home economics teacher at Chamberlain High School in Tampa, Fla.
She enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, soccer and watching the Chicago Cubs.
She is survived by one nephew, Bruce (Dora) Kneebone; a niece-in-law, Pam (Randi) Kneebone; five great-nieces and great-nephews, Damian, Ashley, Andy, Megan and Haleigh; and six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, Melodie, Madisen, Alyvia, Grayson, MacKenzie and Maci.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Wilma Kneebone; her brother-in-law, Ralph Kneebone; one nephew, Randi Kneebone; and her longtime partner, Aston Buckley.
Private services will be held at Abby Affordable Cremation and Funeral Services in Largo, Fla., on Saturday, May 12.
