GRANVILLE — Donna R. Veronda Edgcomb, 75, of Granville passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at Heartland Health Care in Henry.
Donna was born April 18, 1942, in Port Byron to Martin and Darlene (Sims) Jeppson. She married Raymond Veronda Sr. on July 21, 1962, at Holy Family Church in Oglesby. He preceded her in death. She later married Michael Edgcomb June 11, 2003. He also preceded her in death.
Donna was a healthcare provider her entire life and took great pride in caring for her patients, as well as her family and friends. She enjoyed watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.
Donna is survived by two sons, Raymond (Stacy) Veronda Jr. of Mark and Douglas (Lauren) Veronda of Granville; four grandchildren, Brooke and Alex Veronda, and Cody and Paige Veronda; her mother who raised her, Katie Selbrede of LaSalle; and four sisters, Earlene Hart of Portage, Wis., Rita (Billy) Hernandez of Orman, Fla., Marlene (Richard) Fox of Portage, Wis., and Kay Vitoux of Valparaiso, Ind.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Raymond Veronda and Michael Edgcomb; and her daughter-in-law, Pam Veronda.
A memorial visitation and prayer service was held Friday, Sept. 15, in the Helmer-Shields Funeral Home with Father Patrick DeMeulemeester officiating. Burial was private.
