GRANVILLE — Lilia Chaves-York, 57, of Granville died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born June 1, 1960, in Costanos, Mexico, to Raul and Santos (Sanchez) Chavez. She married Billy York on Jan. 19, 1999, in Texas.
She worked in housekeeping at Monteray Mushroom plant for 12 years.
Survivors include her husband, Billy York of Granville; one son, Julio (Jennifer) Errisuris of Oglesby; three daughters, Nereyra Errisuris of Spring Valley, Ericka Errisuris of Mexico and Liliana Errisuris of Laredo, Texas; five brothers and five sisters; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church in LaSalle with Father Paul Carlson officiating. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Dysart-Cofoid Funeral Chapel in Granville. Additional visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in the church.
