LASALLE — Director Ken Schroeder has announced auditions for Stage 212’s fall 2017 production, “6 Rms Riv Vu,” the classic comedy by Bob Randall, will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18, and Saturday, Aug. 19, at the theater, 700 First St. in LaSalle.
Paul Friedman, a married advertising copywriter and Anne Miller, a discontented housewife, meet when each shows up at the same time to inspect an apartment for rent. When they discover the door has been locked accidentally, trapping them inside, they are forced to wait for rescue together. A connection slowly develops as they pass the time by sharing details of their respective lives.
Schroeder will be casting eight people aged early 20s and up. Three male roles and three female roles are available. The remaining two roles could be cast either gender. Perusal scripts are available by contacting the Stage 212 ticket office at 815-224-3025. Familiarity with the script is not required to audition. For more information, visit www.stage212.org.
"6 Rms Riv Vu" will be presented Nov. 3-5 and 10-12.
Stage 212 auditions are open to all regardless of prior theatrical experience.
