MANLIUS — Two Putnam County Lady Panthers advanced to the Class A state track and field finals at the Manlius Sectional May 11. The team garnered 31 points to place 10th in the sectional field of 14 teams.
Sophomore Lindsey DiazDeLeon qualified in the long jump, (16-05.25), a new school record, and in the 800-meter run (2:27.61). Junior Olivia Lawley qualified in the 100-meter high hurdles in 17:17 and in the 300-meter low hurdles in 48.62.
DiazDeLeon and Lawley will compete in the IHSA Class A Finals in Charleston this weekend.
